Frédéric Lagarde Piano

Frédéric LAGARDE, artistic director of the festival, winner of 10 international competitions, performs as soloist and chamber musician at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Carnegie Hall in New York, Tokyo Opera, Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, Musikverein in Vienna… A partner of numerous musicians and orchestras, he teaches at the Pôle Supérieur de Dijon-Bourgogne, as well as in master-classes in France, the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Brazil, Canada… His recordings (Naxos, Mirare…) have received several “Diapason d’or” and “Choc” awards from Le Monde de la Musique.

Adèle Winckler Violin

A young violinist and brilliant graduate of the Hochschule für Musik Saarbrücken, Adèle Winckler shares her passion for music in various chamber and orchestral ensembles. She has been a member of the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, and since 2018 of the Saarländisches Staatstheater. In this capacity, she performs in Berlin, Bucharest, Orange, Saarbrücken…

Pierre-Olivier Queyras Violin

A chamber musician first and foremost, Pierre-Olivier Queyras shares his passion for chamber music with numerous performers from different horizons, notably at the Rencontres Musicales de Haute-Provence, of which he has been founder and artistic director for over twenty years. These encounters gave birth to the DUMKY TRIO, with whom he performs in Europe, North America and Asia.

Marie Béreau Violin

After studying at the Julliard School in New York, Marie Béreau co-founded and became 1st violinist of the celebrated Manfred Quartet (1st prize at the Evian and Banff competitions, Canada), with whom she performed for over 30 years on the world’s greatest stages (Paris, London, Berlin, Moscow, Washington…). She has performed with M Rostropovitch, I Bashmet, JC Pennetier… Her recordings have received unanimous acclaim from the press, which has recognized the Manfred Quartet as one of the most brilliant instrumental ensembles of its generation.

Christian Wolff Cello

Cellist and co-founder of one of the world’s most famous string quartets – the Manfred Quartet – C Wolff has devoted several decades to a wide variety of chamber music repertoires. His recordings (Harmonia Mundi, Zig-Zag Territoire…) have been acclaimed by the press from the USA to Japan. As a member of the quartet, Christian performs on the world’s greatest stages, with M Rostropovitch, I Bashmet and T Nikolaïeva among others. A student at the Julliard School in New York, he was assistant to J Deplace before being appointed professor at the Pôle Supérieur de Musique de Dijon-Bourgogne.

Camille Bonamy Alto

After brilliant studies at the CNSM in Lyon, Camille Bonamy perfected her skills with leading soloists. She is regularly invited to play in the Paris and Lyon Philharmonic Orchestras, as well as with several chamber ensembles (Dimitri Quartet, Arta Balarta…). Passionate about teaching-she shares her passion first in Colombia and then in Europe-and about musical theater, she is a favorite interpreter of several composers, notably A Brun, whose piece for electronics and viola she premiered in 2022.

Fabrice Bihan Cello

Successively a member of the Debussy Quartet and the Trio à Cordes de Paris, F Bihan has established himself as a renowned chamber musician in France and many other countries. His versatility enables him to share the stage with a wide range of personalities from the worlds of science, theater and so on. A laureate of prestigious foundations, he has been a professor at the CNSM de Lyon since 2015.

Serge Kakudji Countertenor

Serge Kakudji’s itinerary is fascinating: from Lubumbashi, a Congolese province, to the Opéra Bastille, it’s a world Serge has traversed, performing Handel’s Julius Caesar on the prestigious Parisian stage in 2013, becoming “one of the 50 most important personalities in his country”. Since then, he has performed with the greatest Baroque conductors (J-C Malgoire, S Cambreling…) all over the world.

Staffan Martensson Clarinet

Voted Best Soloist of the Year at the Swedish Grammis Awards 2007 and awarded Best CD 2006 by Swedish Radio, he is undoubtedly one of the most talented Scandinavian instrumentalists of his generation. Solo clarinet at the Royal Opera of Stockholm since 2000, winner of several national and international competitions, Staffan Mårtensson also travels Europe as a guest soloist, accompanying orchestras such as the Chamber Orchestras of Stuttgart, Stockholm, Prague and Toulouse, the Royal Orchestra of Stockholm, the Camerata de Lausanne…

Anton Hanson Violin

Born in Tokyo in 1992, Anton Hanson began playing the violin in Japan and completed his studies at the CNSM in Paris in 2015. A founding member of the Hanson Quartet, he continues to perfect his chamber music skills with musicians including Hatto Beyerle, Johannes Meissl and Rainer Schmidt, through ECMA, ProQuartet and the Queen Elisabeth Chapel. As a member of the Hanson Quartet, he plays in numerous European concert halls and festivals, and has taken part in the recording of several critically acclaimed albums (“All Shall Not Die”, a double disc devoted to Haydn, is Diapason d’or of the year 2021). The quartet’s eclectic repertoire enables it to explore a broad corpus ranging from Haydn to contemporary music, with projects involving composers such as Pintscher, Rihm and Crumb (recording of the electrified quartet Black Angels with B.Records). The quartet’s many collaborations also see it regularly sharing the stage with musicians such as Adam Laloum, Joe Christophe, Théo Fouchenneret and Marie-Laure Garnier, to name but a few. Parallel to this activity, Anton Hanson is passionate about the orchestral repertoire and performance on historical instruments, and takes part in projects with numerous ensembles (Les Ambassadeurs, Cercle de l’Harmonie, Il Caravaggio, Appassionato, Forces Majeures.Anton Hanson is artist-in-residence at the Fondation Singer-Polignac in Paris.
